Counseling can help family members overcome challenging family problems and strengthen the family unit.

You will learn ways to build new skills and/or work through difficult situations. Families meet in private, confidential sessions to develop ways to strengthen their relationships, communicate more effectively, and resolve conflict. Family members will feel heard, and benefit from objective, unbiased yet knowledgeable advice. You will learn new approaches and arrive at solutions. For some issues, results will be immediate and others may take more time. You and your counselor will develop a customized plan for addressing your concerns.

The Counseling Center has helped families deal with a wide variety of problems. Some of the more common issues are dealing with discipline challenges, developing self-esteem, teenage conflict, job loss, divorce or separation, illness, etc.
