Marie has extensive experience working with
adults, children adolescents and families. In her work with
children, she has facilitated a boys’ anger management
group and a social skills group for both boys and girls.
She works with a wide range of diagnosis in both children
and adults including; bipolar, depression, anxiety, phobias,
oppositional defiant disorders, loss, trauma, as well as
many others.
Marie is passionate about using EMDR, when appropriate,
in her work with clients. EMDR is a non-invasive, client-therapist
collaboration in which healing can happen effectively.
EMDR is a powerful short term therapy that can be used
with a wide range of disorders.
Marie strongly believes that
every person is unique. Her approach is always individualized.
In a safe and supportive environment, Marie works with each
client to develop the most effective ways to achieve that
person’s needs and goals in order to promote change.
