SP, age 35, had never really had permanent work or permanent housing. Alcohol and drug abuse were used to cope with life-long depression. Though on medication for treatment of the depression, it still persisted to such an extent that employment and relationships were never long lived. SP began seeing a therapist at the Counseling Center and through ongoing counseling, has been able to learn coping skills that have led to employment, housing and the beginning of a relationship, "MCC saved my life!"
