About our scholarship award

The MCC Community Scholarship Award was developed to help young graduates who are interested in making significant contributions in the health and wellness field in the future. As we are keenly aware, professionals in these areas are desperately needed.  While we encourage all interested students to apply, strong consideration will be given to students who plan to continue their studies in the areas of mental, social and physical health. 

$1,000 was awarded this May to a single qualified student living within the MCC service area, and may be used for both two and four year college costs as well as health and wellness certification programs.
