MARBLEHEAD –Thirty years ago, you’d have found Johnny Ray at the front desk of the Harbor Light Inn, talking to patrons about Marblehead’s Colonial and pre-revolutionary history. Today, he’s making history of his own, blanketing the North Shore with music at the Beacon Restaurant and Bar, Johnny’s Music Emporium, and now, at the brand new Swampscott Center for the Performing Arts (SCPA).

Ted and Julie Moore Family Fund Sponsors Marblehead Counseling Center

MARBLEHEAD –Connecting with people they care deeply about, supporting things they’re passionate about, and giving back to their adopted Marblehead community have played a huge part in the philanthropic decision-making of the Ted and Julie Moore Family Fund since it began ten years ago. The Fund is a top-tier Harmony Sponsor of Marblehead Counseling Center’s (MCC), upcoming fall fundraiser Swamp-Stock: Rock the Night!, an evening of rock and roll to support mental health. The five hour bash will be held at the Swampscott Center for the Performing Arts from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Thursday, October 1^st.

April 2026 Satisfaction Survey

As part of its commitment to a cycle of continuous improvement, MCC recently conducted a client satisfaction survey. The survey, sent out to approximately 300 clients in April 2026, was largely very positive about the therapists and services offered by the Center. The majority of respondents have been clients at MCC for more than two years (1 in 3), with another 25% saying they have been part of the MCC community between one and two years.
