Haley Hastings, MA

Haley Hastings is a compassionate and dedicated post-masters mental health counselor committed to guiding individuals towards wellness and empowerment. With a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from UMass Dartmouth and a Master’s of Science in Counseling from Salem State University, Haley brings over 5 years of experience in the field. In addition to her professional work, Haley has been volunteering as a crisis counselor for the Crisis Text Line since 2021, providing immediate support and intervention to individuals in distress.

Haley’s expertise spans both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings, where she provides comprehensive support and therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Her person-centered approach ensures that clients feel heard, understood, and valued, while her use of CBT techniques empowers them to challenge negative thought patterns and develop practical coping strategies.

Haley has a special focus working with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and young adults. She enjoys working with a wide range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment issues, trauma, stress, relationship and attachment issues, and more. Known for her empathetic approach and collaborative style, Haley fosters a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their challenges and achieve meaningful change. In her therapeutic work, she likes to integrate the therapeutic benefits of art as expressive tools for her clients.

Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Haley is dedicated to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of mental health. In her free time, Haley enjoys reading a good book, spending time with her two dogs, or trying new places to eat.
