About Swamp-Stock: Rock the Night

Marblehead Counseling Center (MCC) announces its first ever rock ‘n’ roll fundraiser by the sea: Swamp-Stock: Rock the Night! on Thursday, October 1^st from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Featuring a line-up of some of the North Shore’s hottest bands, Swamp-Stock: Rock the Night! will be an evening of live music and dancing at the brand-new Swampscott Center for the Performing Arts, formerly Hawthorne by the Sea.

Hosted by Marblehead ‘rock-trepreneur’ Johnny Ray of The Beacon and Johnny Ray’s Music Emporium, and now the Swampscott Center for the Performing Arts, Swamp-Stock: Rock the Night! will feature multiple bands performing over the five-hour fundraiser.

For over 55 years, MCC has provided mental health and social services for children, teens, adults, seniors and families. Swamp-Stock is an important fundraiser that allows us to continue to serve the communities of Marblehead, Swampscott, Lynn, Nahant and others on the North Shore.

Over 25% of the MCC’s operating budget relies on outside contributions from generous donors and sponsors like you. With the funds raised at events like Swamp-Stock, we can continue to offer incredibly valuable resources to our friends and neighbors who depend on it. Increased funding allows us to hire additional clinicians, subsidize care to underinsured and launch important resources like group therapy and effective tele-health sessions.
